Spring Book Sale
Please join the Friends of the Library for their semi-annual sale. Materials for sale include books, movies, music, and puzzles. All items are sold on a donation basis (without specified prices). Thu, May 8th, 9:30-8pm, Fri, May 9th, 9:30-5pm, and Sat, May 10th, 10:30-1:30pm.
Teen Anime Club
Individuals in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for fun anime themed activities, games, and occasional movies! Occurs on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and starts at 6:30pm. No registration is required.
Spots of Paint
This Summer's Summer long Library Program is themed "Color Your World." As we anxiously await the start of our Summer Library Program, we are preparing the Children's Room with spots of fun and color. Teens (grades 6 - 12) interested in helping us decorate the room and help us paint ceiling tiles will need to pick up a tile design paper at the Children's Desk of the Galion Public Library. Designs for the ceiling tiles have to be either art or literary themed (and family friendly). Other than that, the skies the limit in terms of design. Designs need to be seen by Miss Lexie before they can be drawn/painted onto a tile. Last day to turn in Designs May 14th. Teen Game Night
Individuals in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for board games, card games and video games. No registration is required. Occurs on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6pm to 8pm, right after Teen Advisory Board (TAB). (Read More.)
STEAM Ahead
Join us at the library for fun and interesting experiments and activities. Each month on the 3rd Thursday is something new to explore! For ages K - 5th.
Stitch Club
Know how to sew, knit, crochet, or any other fiber craft? Don't know how to do any of these crafts but want to learn? We will help you learn how! We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the Month at 5:30pm. For all ages! We welcome children, teens and adults too! (Read More.)

Bingo! for Books
Come in and play bingo, winners leave with a new book of their choice! There will be plenty of opportunities to win too; Cards will be played through until we get three bingo winners each round! We'll be playing from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Always free to play! (Read More.)
Summer Storytime
Join us for Storytime each week, on Tuesday or Wednesday morning at 10:15am. Activities are themed for preschool aged children. Tiger's Den Skating Party
Kick off the Summer Library Program by joining the library of the Tiger's Den for a skating party! Stop in at anytime between 1:00-3:00 p.m. Entry to the skating party will not start until at 1:00 p.m. Waiver forms will be made available at the Youth Desk of the Galion Public Library starting June 2nd. Pop-Up Craft: Mini Book Making
Love to collect books or interested in making your own personal library? Then join us for Mini-Book Making! We will be making our own mini books with our favorite covers. This program is geared towards ages 10+ Fri, Jun 13th at 1pm.
Wolves - Fact vs. Fiction
The Ohio Canid Center will be visiting Galion at the Nazarene Church with one of their wolves. Come and learn about the myths and legends surrounding those cool creatures. Thu, Jun 19th at 1pm.
Teen Ghost Hunt
Come to the library for an after hours Ghost Hunt at the library. Explore using various technology and equipment as you debunk paranormal phenomenon. Teens and adults will be able to hunt all over the library (with a few places off limits). Teens must be 14 years or older to participate. Fri, Jun 20th at 6pm.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Race to 1000 books with our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten reading program! Parents track the amount of books online, and children are given prizes for different milestones! For ages birth through kindergarten, and you need to sign up in person.
One-on-One Help
